A building and a website everyone can use

Halstead Yards is committed to making this website usable by everyone, whatever technology they arrive with. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA and test with a keyboard and a screen reader as part of every change.

What that means here

Every page can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and a skip link takes you straight to the main content. Photographs carry descriptive alternative text, headings run in order, and colour is never the only way information is conveyed.

Floor plan drawings are accompanied by the same information as text: bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, rent and availability all appear in writing beside every drawing.

The building itself

The community is designed and operated in accordance with the Fair Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Accessible homes are available, and the leasing office will walk you through what each one offers.
